Project Overview
Wheeler Display supplied an L A2 LED lightbox (62 × 44 cm) for a quick-service restaurant in Germany offering pizza, döner specialities, burgers, rice dishes, snacks, and beverages.
The requirement was clear: a permanent, wall-mounted illuminated menu board capable of presenting a dense, multi-category layout without visual clutter. The menu includes varied typography sizes, pricing columns, promotional sections, and high-contrast red and white colour blocks. Consistent illumination across the entire surface area was essential to maintain legibility throughout daily service.
The L A2 horizontal format was selected to provide structured width for category separation while maintaining proportional balance within the restaurant interior. Edge-lit LED technology was specified to ensure uniform brightness without hotspotting, particularly across bold colour fields and pricing lines.
The display was manufactured in-house and supplied pre-assembled, ready for wall installation.
