Project Overview
Wheeler Display produced an A1 XL horizontal LED lightbox to support the promotion of the Frank Gehry edition associated with the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi exhibition.
The requirement was a clean, high-contrast illuminated display suitable for gallery and exhibition environments. The format needed to maintain architectural visual integrity while ensuring consistent illumination across detailed imagery and fine typography.
The A1 XL horizontal configuration was selected to accommodate landscape-oriented exhibition visuals, including architectural renderings and artwork references. The display was specified for wall-mounted installation within an interior cultural setting, where uniform brightness, material refinement, and controlled glare were critical.
Manufactured in-house, the system integrates edge-lit LED technology with glass and aluminium construction. The illuminated graphic was printed on high-resolution backlit film to preserve tonal accuracy and structural detail within the architectural imagery.
This installation reinforces Wheeler Display’s capability to supply exhibition-grade illuminated signage for cultural institutions and gallery environments across Europe.
