Project Overview
Wheeler Display supplied multiple A4 S LED lightboxes to promote the official audio tour at Heidelberg Castle in Germany.
The installation was specified as a compact, wall-mounted illuminated display system positioned within a historic stone environment. The objective was to provide clear visitor guidance while maintaining visual balance within a heritage architectural setting.
The display promotes multilingual audio tour access and presents structured visitor themes including history, legends, and romance. Illumination needed to remain consistent under variable natural light conditions common in outdoor and semi-exterior heritage environments.
The A4 S format was selected for its controlled brightness, slim aluminium profile, and proportional footprint. The units integrate into the architectural context without dominating the stone façade.
All displays were manufactured in-house and delivered pre-assembled for direct installation.
